There are about 50 beds in the dormitory and when I first saw that I was a little worried but it was unbelievably quiet. Quieter than some 4 bed dorms I’ve stayed in. Bed spaces were roomy with a shelf, curtain, power, light, hanger, and towel rail. Clean towels were provided every day. You get a small combination lock locker and there is storage for bigger bags. There is a very small kitchen with a cooker so it is possible to cook but only really feasible for one person so probably best to plan not to. There is also a microwave, kettle and fridge. Bathrooms were clean and although shared with a lot of guests there was never an issue with availability. Breakfast was very good, with a huge variety of food and drinks. I also really liked the system of having an ‘occupied’ card that you place on a table before getting your breakfast. This ensured that you have a place to sit once you have your food, although the dining room is very large so it would have to be exceptionally busy for there to be a shortage of tables. The location was great, walking distance from the train station and ferry terminal (assuming you can walk 20 min) and close to shops and restaurants.

Good location: a little far from Takamatsu Station & the port area, but you can hop a bus easily. As well, the place is right next to some shopping & dining arcades, which meant I could explore the hubbub of Saturday night social events. Bed areas were comfortable & large enough even for tall people, with an adjustable light inside. The common area had a fridge, microwave & hangout spaces for small groups to gather too. Free manga collection on each floor! It’s all in Japanese so foreign tourists might not be able to use it, but it’s still a unique touch and you can still enjoy it if you’re a manga fan. Coin laundry was really helpful for backpackers like me who have to carry their used clothes with them, and the staff were very helpful!

Even though the dorm has a lot of capsule beds it was pretty quiet as people kept the volume down (still recommend ear plugs). The capsules itself were really spacious with spaces to hang clothes/towels and the light's dimmable. There are lockers for every bed and enough place storage room for luggage (even luggage locks). They offered necessary shower/toilet amenities and the bathrooms were clean. I liked the little kitchen and their extensive manga library as well as the lounge/coffee area on the second floor. Washing machine/dryer worked amazing and it doesn't even need detergent!

Surprisingly decent hotel for a very reasonable price. Spacious room w/ comfy bed, separate bathroom and toilet, nespresso pod machine for easy morning coffee. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location is good, very close to covered shopping streets & restaurants. 15ish minute walk to Ritsurin garden. There's no parking onsite but they have a deal with the marui kame multi story parking lot about 150m down the road, wasn't too much trouble to park there, might have thought otherwise if it was raining though.

The room design is very good, with a corridor separating the bedroom and living room. After the children go to bed, adults can also move around in the living room without affecting their sleep. The toilet and bathroom are separated, which is very hygienic. In the shared location on the 10th floor, in addition to the usual hotel washing machines and vending machines, there are comics to borrow and a kitchen.
